To show its real-world capability, I connected a Wi-Fi digital microscope to the iPhone and streamed the live microscopic feed straight to the Quest 3 headset. 📱 1. App Downloads & Pairing
iPhone: Download Tendy Link
Quest 3: Download Tendy
Casting Steps:
Open Tendy on Quest 3 and click "Start Receiving" to display your IP address.
Enter the IP address into Tendy Link on your iPhone, then tap "Start Casting".
Select Tendy Link for screen broadcasting and tap "Start Broadcast" to mirror your screen!
⚠️ Essential Network Settings (Important!)
Connecting Wi-Fi Accessories (e.g., Wi-Fi Microscope):
Since the iPhone needs to connect to both the Wi-Fi microscope and the Quest 3, you MUST turn on iPhone Personal Hotspot and connect your Quest 3 to it. This ensures both devices are on the same local network while streaming.
Standard Screen Mirroring (No external Wi-Fi accessories):
If you are just casting the iPhone screen normally without connecting to another Wi-Fi device, simply connect both your iPhone and Quest 3 to the same Wi-Fi network. No hotspot required!
